We raise meat chickens twice a year, 65-75 at a time, in the spring and the fall. Approximate processing dates are in June & October. This avoids stressing the birds during the high heat of the summer.
Meat chickens are fed a diet of locally grown and blended grains, legumes and seeds. No hormones or other additives are utilized.
Birds are grown to an average weight of 5-5.5 pounds and then processed at a USDA certified processing plant. You receive a product which is clean, bagged, and frozen.
Check the product info tab for important information regarding current pricing.
Total charge for Spring 2019 will be based on $3.85/#.
Payment represents down payment & reserves one chicken per paid reservation (If multiple chickens are desired, please indicate the total number and pay the reservation fee of $15.00/bird). Balance is due when your order is picked up. We will remain in contact about processing date so that you can pick up or take delivery of your birds shortly thereafter.
We make every attempt to accommodate size preferences, but fill orders in the order received, too. Thanks for understanding & for shopping with us!
