Beeswax is a natural by product of honey bees. Burning beeswax releases its amazing, honey like aroma. It is pure, and natural- and renewable! Beeswax is hypoallergenic, too. Air is naturally purified by burning beeswax by the negative ions that are released. These ions neutralize dust, pollen, and pollutants. This makes burning beeswax candles idea for those with allergies, and asthma. This beeswax travel candle is unscented to allow that warm, relaxing honey fragrance to shine. Beeswax has a beautiful rich yellow color and burn with a clean burning, bright flame.
Our beeswax candles are hand poured in small batches using 100% natural beeswax from local bee hives. You are helping to save bees and support sustainable agriculture with your purchase.
Bee Math! Did you know that one honeybee visits up to thirty-three million flowers to produce ten pounds of honey which it then eats to produce one pound of beeswax. Wow!
While beeswax is nearly impossible to certify organic, due to the wide range of field that bees will travel to harvest their pollen, I do work with bee keepers that position their hives to encourage bees to frequent the best gardens and fields available. Some of these bees even play in my own gardens. Be assured I am creating for you with pure beeswax, which creates a superior product.
You don't have to be traveling to enjoy our Travel Candles! They are awesome (and handy) around your home. Our Beeswax Travel Candles are poured in a 4oz metal tin with slip lid. Our wicks are pure cotton and contain no zinc or lead, so they burn cleanly, evenly, and are eco-friendly. The tin can be reused or recycled when the candle is gone. Beeswax is a hard wax. Cracks in the wax are normal.
Burn times are around 18+ hours. This is a conservative average, not a guarantee. Results will vary. Wick maintenance is important to maximize burn time.
I utilize sustainable glass, metal, plant-based cellophane, and textile packaging when at all humanly possible! These items are reusable in your home, or recyclable if you choose.
My soap (and several other products) has a label affixed to seed paper that contains a blend of 12 non-invasive wildflowers that bees and butterflies are attracted to.
I hope that you enjoy our tiny gift and that you plant flowers to encourage pollination and beauty. I'd love to see your pot/plot of wildflowers that you grow! Tag me on Instagram or Facebook with "#catspawsoapery"
